It's not that. One of the other engineers has an idea for how we can clean out and sterilize the entire ship without making anybody who might potentially be susceptible to the fungus go into it.

...And that wouldn't release it out into space where it could infect more people?

Last time I checked, fungi requires water and oxygen to survive, and space has neither of those things. But we'll test a sample to be sure before going through with the whole thing.

Mostly right now we just want to see if you guys put your heads together, getting the ship to turn on is even a possibility.
