As for how easy, I guess it wouldn't be impossible? We'd have to get a lot of raw materials to make it, but if we hit a planet that had good bricks and solid metals, it's feasible.
Mm, will the fire pose a risk? I will have sufficient funds - there is at least one other who has indicated they will help - and I think I can wrangle my brother and cousin into helping with the actual construction, so all we need worry about is the materials, I think.
That's good, half the battle getting people willing to help build it. I should think if we picked a room with good ventilation, the fire shouldn't be that much of an issue. Especially if I tighten up the airlocks so it doesn't spill out into the corridors.
Well, we all of us have fond memories of the forge, and it will keep us busy! Not to mention, I think there is need for it, now. But do you think you could manage the designs for that? I fear none of us ended up with an engineering implant, and this technology is beyond us.
Me too, and it'd be a good thing to be able to forge weapons for people who aren't exactly used to guns.
[He'll never be used to them himself, not when he can have more traditional weapons he feels much safer using/ ]
No problemo! I can absolutely see what I can draw up there. You got a room picked out or should I take a walk around the Iskaulit and see what fits our needs?
That was my thought as well! My older brother recieved a security implant, but I remain uncomfortable with them myself, and he, too, indicated he would prefer a good solid blade.
Not yet - there are a few I think would suit, but the main thing, I think, will be to make sure it is far away from both engines and any other areas, to lower risk of fire.
Aye, that is true! Also, there is... something that feels a little wrong in being able to kill from such a distance with such minimal effort. Even a bow seems less impersonal.
Hm, perhaps on the lower decks? Is there a way to set it up for a quick delivery of water to douse the flames?
Yeah, I've got a pretty good idea. [He smiles as they walk. ] As much as you can here, anyway, Atroma kinda make it tricky to follow where all their pipes and cables lead.
video: eee works for me!

[Look, he loves scientific advancements a lot but guns just seem like a generally bad idea. ]
Yeah, we really need it to be somewhere out of the way- better safe than sorry.

Hm. It would be a case of connecting it to the water system of the Iskaulit. We know these is one, it's just a case of connecting it all up.

Hm...perhaps if we repurposed a room with existing plumbing? We might also want to look at ventilation options.

action!
Hey, Maglor!
action!
Sokka, well met! Tis kind of you to come. Should we start on the lower decks, do you think, or look up here, first?

Don't mention it, glad to help. Let's try the lower first!

Hopefully we will be able to find something suitable! I assume you know what the water pipes look like, eh? If we can find something close to them...
